Internship – MSEE / Embedded Systems & Artificial Intelligence
As part of an ambitious R&D initiative at the intersection of industrial IoT and Artificial Intelligence, we are offering a graduate-level internship opportunity for an MSEE or final-year engineering student.
The internship focuses on the implementation of an AI engine designed to interpret data from a proprietary embedded system. The AI model will be deployed and executed on a secure private cloud server (e.g., AWS), using a customized Foundation Model (FM) pipeline.
The intern will contribute to:
- Modeling and interfacing with a real-world electronic system
- Structuring and processing data collected from the system for training purposes
- Training and integrating a Foundation Model on a cloud-based environment
- Creating a feedback loop between AI-driven interpretation and the physical connected object
- Evaluating the relevance and accuracy of AI responses in the context of real system behavior
This project offers a unique opportunity to explore the full implementation stack of an embedded AI engine—from data acquisition and RTOS-based firmware to server-side AI analysis and real-time system feedback.
Why We Insist on a Strong Electronics Background
As a company specialized in the design and testing of advanced electronic systems, we place strong emphasis on recruiting interns with solid electronics fundamentals. While this project includes high-level AI, cloud, and software aspects, its success depends on a solid grasp of how real circuits behave, how they are modeled, and how they interact with embedded intelligence.
We value candidates who demonstrate a firm understanding of:
- Transistor fundamentals (MOSFETs, BJTs, diodes)
- Circuit theory (Ohm’s law, impedance, filtering, etc.)
- Basics of RTL design and FPGA logic
- Use of laboratory instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators)
- Exposure to electronic simulation tools (e.g., Spectre, ADS, LTSpice, or equivalent)
- A strong academic track record (high GPA) in electronics and programming disciplines
Candidate Profile
- MSEE/Engineering school post-graduate student (final year). Undergraduate students may be considered with a limited scope
- Good programming skills (Python, C/C++, etc.)
- Experience with microcontrollers and solid knowledge of MCU architecture, memory management, operating systems, and communication protocols
- Mastery of basic electronic circuits
- Experience with electrical circuit simulation tools
- Comfortable with physical modeling using CAD tools
- Very good English communication skills (spoken and written)
- A strong will to learn and push boundaries
- Ability to work in structured, project-based environments
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) is a plus
- PCB design experience is a plus
